Pre-dispersed solid lubricant additive packages for grease formulators. Compare WS₂, MoS₂ and hybrid systems engineered for EP, AW, AF and thermal-management performance.
The Torvix™ range gives grease manufacturers four routes to improve load-carrying capacity, wear protection and boundary friction. Select a WS₂ system when low friction, oxidation resistance or a lighter finished-grease appearance matters; select MoS₂ when an OEM specification or traditional heavy-duty grease profile requires molybdenum disulfide; or use a hybrid package to balance performance and formulation cost.

MoS₂ grease is a lubricating grease formulated with molybdenum disulfide as a solid lubricant. Under boundary and mixed-lubrication conditions, MoS₂ supports film strength and helps reduce metal-to-metal contact when the base grease film is insufficient.
It is commonly selected for heavily loaded, slow-moving or shock-loaded components. The correct MoS₂ concentration depends on the application, the grease matrix and the performance specification rather than a single universal percentage.

When a customer or OEM specification requires MoS₂, when a conventional black heavy-duty grease is acceptable, or when proven boundary lubrication under shock load is the primary requirement.
When lower friction, higher oxidative-temperature capability, reduced treat-rate potential or a less-dark finished grease is strategically important.
When the formulation needs the established EP contribution of MoS₂, the low-friction behavior of WS₂ and the thermal-management contribution of hBN in one concentrate.
Measures weld point and load-wear behavior under extreme-pressure conditions. Published W720 data reports an 800 kgf weld point at a 2.5% test loading.
Measures wear-scar diameter under anti-wear conditions and helps confirm whether the additive package protects the contact without creating abrasive behavior.
SRV or pin-on-disc testing can quantify friction behavior under the contact pressure, speed, temperature and stroke that more closely represent the target application.
Confirm worked penetration, mechanical stability, oil separation, corrosion response and compatibility alongside tribology results before finalizing the formulation.
A sub-micron WS₂ and hBN package engineered to form a uniform protective tribofilm, reduce friction, support load carrying and improve heat dissipation. W700 is designed for premium formulations where performance should not significantly darken the finished grease.
